GENERAL INFORMATION

Placing orders
When placing orders, a written purchase order is required via FAX or mail.
Less than minimum
Order for quantities less than the minimums quoted in this price sheet will require special quotations.
Special rush orders
Orders requiring less than normal production time must be authorized by the factory before the order is accepted, and a 25% surcharge will be added.
Cancellations
Orders are not subject to cancellation without factory approval. Orders cancelled during production will be charged for the work completed at the time of the cancellation.
Re-orders
To ensure exact duplication of repeat orders, a record of the previous order must be submitted including invoice number or acknowledgement number and/or a sample of the item, when possible.
Production time
Normal manufacturing time required is 2-3 weeks for a sample and 3-4 weeks after approval of sample. Please contact the factory for product replicas time.
Artwork and design services
If complete camera-ready art is not supplied or factory needs to repair art, there will be a charge of $70 (a) and up. When enlarging or reducing art- work, it may be enlarged up to two times its size or reduced to one fourth at no extra charge, or there will be a charge of $26 (a) for each negative and print required to obtain size.
Shipping
F.O.B. No. Hollywood, California If no shipping method has been specified on your purchase order, we will select the most appropriate based on the weight of shipment, the destination and the transit times available.
Overruns/underruns
We reserve the right to ship and bill 5% over or under the quantity ordered.
Claims
All claims must be made within 10 days of the shipping date shown on the packing slip. Factory authorization must be obtained prior to the return of merchandise for any reason.
Split or drop shipment
Charge: $4 (a)
Tools and molds
Tooling (model) service charges are billed at factory cost. Tooling mold charges are for labor only and remain in our possession for your exclusive use. All production molds shall remain the company property of Tortolani. In the event there are no re-orders for a period of three years, we reserve the right to dispose of production molds without further notification.
Custom quotes
Due to the variations of design: Plaque Mounts, Custom Casting, and etc. must be quoted on an individual basis. Please contact factory and indicate size, quantity, finish, along with the artwork for quotation.
Engraving on plated items
When engraving we recommend that the ENGRAVING PROCESS BE DONE BEFORE PLATING, otherwise we cannot be responsible for items that are engraved on.
Bleed-out
It is the nature of brass, copper and bronze to bleed-out (spotting). Therefore, like other companies in the industry, we cannot be responsible if this were to occur. We would recommend using other finishes to avoid this possibility.
Terms of sale
2% 10 net 30 days from the date of invoice for approved accounts. For others prepay or C.O.D. is required.
Samples
Random samples of most items are available upon request.
Stock colors
White, Black, Red PMS 199C, Yellow C, Green PMS 348C, Reflex Blue C. If a customer wishes to use any other PMS color, there will be a $100 (a) charge per color.
